Summary

Join AirDNA as a Strategy & Planning Associate and contribute to high-impact business decisions. You will leverage data analysis, financial modeling, and strategic insights to influence AirDNA’s growth strategy and operational efficiency. This role involves analyzing large datasets using SQL, developing financial models in Excel, supporting leadership in setting KPIs, identifying operational inefficiencies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will conduct market research, create insightful dashboards and reports, and present findings to stakeholders. This is a high-exposure role reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the CEO, offering significant opportunities for professional growth and impact within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a data-driven, analytical role (e.g., strategy, consulting, business intelligence, finance)
  • Advanced SQL skills (writing queries, extracting data, joining tables)
  • Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Passion for fast-moving environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret large datasets using SQL to generate insights that drive strategic decisions
  • Develop Excel-based financial models and forecasting tools to support planning and business performance tracking
  • Support leadership in setting KPIs, goals, and strategic priorities based on data insights
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements
  • Work cross-functionally with teams such as Finance, Product, Marketing, and RevOps to evaluate business initiatives
  • Quickly learn AirDNA’s internal tools, systems, and tech stack to become a highly effective cross-functional partner
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform investment and expansion strategies
  • Create dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics and trends

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Amplitude, Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
