Requirements

  • Experience in procurement, logistics, asset, or account management
  • A first-principles approach to problem-solving and the ability to build from scratch
  • Ability to balance priorities, work through ambiguity, and set expectations
  • Obsession with excellence and building a delightful internal product iteratively and collaboratively
  • Ability to work independently within a global team with autonomy
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Experience working remotely

Responsibilities

  • Place orders and manage shipments, building efficiencies with global vendors and service providers
  • Build out a world-spanning supplier network to deliver hardware globally
  • Manage relationships with service providers to maintain smooth communications and supply lines
  • Manage global inventory, ensuring hardware is tracked and accounted for at every stage
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure world-class, responsive, and suitable hardware supply lines for Remoters
  • Work with vendors and engineers to automate procurement with each platform

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a quickly growing startup
  • Excel/spreadsheet reporting or data analysis; technical or automation familiarity (e.g., low/no-code development using tools like Zapier)
  • Global tax, invoicing, or customs experience
  • Proficiency in other languages
