Summary
Join Quantis as a Sustainability Specialist and contribute to the development and delivery of ESG/sustainability strategies for B2B and B2C clients. You will support sustainability communication projects, advising clients on regulatory frameworks and reporting requirements, conducting materiality assessments, and developing compelling sustainability narratives. This role involves stakeholder engagement, data management, and report writing, requiring both data-driven insights and creative communication skills. Success in this role demands a passion for sustainability, relevant experience in sustainability reporting (CSRD, GRI, CDP), and strong analytical and communication skills. The position offers flexibility with remote work options and collaboration with international teams.
Requirements
- Possess both a love for data-driven insights and creative communication skills both verbally and visually (for presentations, deliverables and online trainings)
- Reliably deliver comprehensive and strategic analyses in an efficient manner
- Bring a general understanding of business and/or sustainability challenges in one or more core sector(s)
- Be proactive, positive and take ownership of self-development, including knowledge and skill improvement
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a sustainable business and marketing communications
- Have 2+ years relevant experience, ideally in a sustainability reporting (CSRD, GRI, CDP) and have worked in marketing communications and understand how to craft meaningful messages and strategies
- Have a first professional experience performing, managing, interpreting and communicating on results and sustainability topics, in consulting, industry and/or academic context
- Be able to collect, process, manage and interpret data in a form that is understandable to audiences with varying levels of knowledge on sustainability
- Be able to generate valuable insights from analysis , and the preparation of clear and compelling reports and presentations of results
- Have an excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and online training tools (i.e. Mural/Muro)
- Have strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and basic design abilities
- Be motivated for teamwork and supporting a team
- Be an effective project manager and enjoy bringing the team to success
- Have excellent communication skills in English and German
Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of ESG / sustainability strategies, communications, reporting and stakeholder engagement for B2B and B2C clients
- Support sustainability communication projects by understanding and advising our clients on the regulatory frameworks and reporting requirements
- Conduct double materiality assessments, industry benchmarks and defining related impacts, risks and opportunities for our clients
- Support the client’s ESG materials review, conducting data collection & reporting
- Develop credible, trusted relationships with our client project teams, guiding them to a better understanding and articulation of their sustainability strategy, targets and actions
- Collaborate with the Quantis and client teams
- Support strategy-related communications sustainability projects (including materiality assessments, CSRD reporting, stakeholder engagement and communications strategy)
- Develop project materials, facilitating engagement workshops, and hosting training sessions
- Research and draft content for presentations, reports, and other communications
- Review client communications and sustainability materials to shape client’s sustainability strategy, framework and/or ESG report
- Write compelling copy for sustainability reports and presentations of analyses, results, insights, and recommendations
- Support the project team in helping the clients in their understanding and implementation of solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Actual experience working on CSRD, CDP, ESG regulatory landscape and report writing is highly preferred
- Have a passion for sustainability topics such as climate, water, biodiversity, plastic, circularity, etc…
