System Administrator

Summary

Join BlackStone eIT as a skilled System Administrator to maintain and optimize our IT systems and infrastructure. Manage and administer all aspects of system infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking. Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and system tools. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement data backup and disaster recovery strategies. Collaborate with IT support teams, conduct system audits, and document system configurations. Research and recommend new technologies to improve the infrastructure and provide user training and support. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in system administration or a related role
• Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, services, and hardware
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
