System Engineer

Summary

Join Nagarro, a rapidly growing digital product engineering company, as a Senior Linux Administrator. In this role, you will plan, design, and install applications and Linux systems for exciting customer projects. You will also support the operation and development of existing systems and applications, manage Linux releases and patches, and contribute to independent projects. This position requires experience with Enterprise Linux environments and IT system integration. Fluency in German and good English skills are essential. The ideal candidate possesses a solution-oriented mindset and strong customer interaction skills.

Requirements

• Have completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or a comparable qualification
• Have gained (several years of) experience with Enterprise Linux environments
• Speak fluent German (C1)
• Speak good English

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and install applications and Linux systems in exciting customer projects
• Support the operation and further development of existing Linux systems and applications
• Operate standard applications and customer developments in a technical environment
• Be involved in Linux release and patch management
• Carry out various other topics in independent projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with DB2, Oracle or other database solutions
• Have a keen interest in the operation of customer systems and applications, as well as in familiarizing yourself with new topics such as automation
• Possess solution and process-oriented thinking and a confident manner towards customers
