System Engineer

Summary

Join Nagarro, a global digital product engineering company, as a System Engineer. You will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and developing storage/server, backup, and virtualization environments. This role involves contributing to the development of our highly available data center landscape and designing IT landscapes and processes. You will provide 2nd and 3rd level support and advise customers on technical problems. The ideal candidate possesses relevant IT training or a degree, professional experience as a system engineer, and knowledge of virtualization, operating systems, and Microsoft services. Fluency in German and good English skills are required.

Requirements

• Completed training as an IT specialist or have a degree in (business) informatics
• Have (first) professional experience as a system engineer
• Possess knowledge in Virtualizations, Operating Systems and Microsoft Services
• Have a solution/process-oriented and analytical mindset and strong methodological skills
• Possess distinct customer orientation and the ability to work in a team as well as a convincing appearance
• Speak fluent German (B2) and good English (B1)

Responsibilities

• Analyze, optimize and develop storage/server, backup and virtualization environments
• Contribute to the further development of our highly available data center landscape and design IT landscapes and IT processes
• Be involved in project topics: Data center migration, virtualization, automation and cloud computing
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support in the area of infrastructure for our existing customers
• Advise customers' departments on technical problems
