System Requirement Engineer Junior in Mexico

Summary

ALTEN Mexico is seeking a System Requirement Engineer with expertise in functional safety to join their team. The engineer will be responsible for developing system requirements, ensuring compliance with functional safety standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, carrying out safety analyses, and implementing safety goals. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive System Engineering, or a related field is required, along with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication abilities, proficiency in English, and knowledge of cloud or vehicle communication protocols is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive System Engineering or a related field
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and document system requirements for complex projects
• Ensure compliance with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architectures and create specifications
• Carry out safety analyses including hazard identification, hazard assessment, and risk mitigation
• Establish and implement safety goals, safety concepts, hazard analyses, and safety requirements
• Conduct safety reviews and manage safety-related documentation

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge in Cloud or Vehicle communication protocols is a plus (CAN, Ethernet, IP, MQTT, LIN)
