Summary

Mindera is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to manage and maintain their organization's computer systems and networks. The role involves installing and configuring software and hardware, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, ensuring data backup and recovery, and working closely with other IT professionals. Expected travel is 0%-15%.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and strong technical background in systems administration
• Configuring and troubleshooting GNU/Linux, MacOS and Windows
• Networking, routing, IP addressing and VLAN planning, configuring VPN connections
• Managing IDS/ IPS and firewalls, Iptables, pf (pfSense), Cisco ASA, etc
• Directory services (MS AD, FreeIPA, other LDAP), SSO and RADIUS
• Managing and optimising relational databases such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL or MariaDB
• Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Backup strategies
• Metrics, graphs and everything around monitoring and alerting (Zabbix, Syslog, ELK/Elastic Stack)
• Writing code to automate processes and tasks
• Containers and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes would be a nice to have
• Configuration infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Change management and Infrastructure documentation
• Virtualization and Storage (ZFS)
• One or more scripting / command language such as Bash or Python

Responsibilities
