Systems Analyst 3

Summary

Join our team as a Systems Analyst 3 and contribute to the success of our projects. You will analyze business objectives, identify solutions, and perform cost-benefit analyses. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, and mapping data between systems. You will also write detailed descriptions of user needs and program functions. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules and strong communication skills. This is a hybrid role, currently remote, with potential for in-office work in Austin, TX. The position is a 12-month contract.

Requirements

• Have 8 years of experience as a business analyst with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2
• Have 8 years of experience as a business analyst, specifically in Accounts Receivable and Billing module implementations
• Have 8 years of experience as a business analyst in gathering requirements and conducting fit/gap analysis with subject matter experts
• Have 8 years of experience in performing hands-on end-to-end system integration testing with third-party interfaces
• Have at least 4 years of experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Have at least 2 years of experience working with MS Teams in a large team setting

Responsibilities

• Understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, perform studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives
• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system
• Confer with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports
• Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program
• Review computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system
• Implement PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules
• Gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and map data to and from legacy systems and third-party interface systems
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a large remote team
• Document
• Perform hands-on testing
• Support training efforts
• Perform other project tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government)
• Have experience as a business analyst in Asset Management
• Have experience as a business analyst in Accounts Payable
• Have experience as a business analyst in General Ledger
• Have experience working with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials system
• Have experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
• Have experience with SharePoint
• Have experience with Jira
• Have experience working with the Scrum framework
• Have experience with STAT
