Summary

Join our team as a Systems Analyst 3 and contribute to the improvement and automation of our computer systems. You will analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to optimize processes. This role requires hands-on experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Asset Management and state government asset management processes. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. You will also create detailed descriptions of user needs and program functions. The position is currently remote but may transition to a hybrid model in the future.

Requirements

  • Have hands-on experience with the PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Asset Management module and a state government's asset management business process
  • Excel in gathering requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, and performing end-to-end business process testing with third-party interface systems
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a large team
  • Have 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst on PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) on implementation or upgrade projects
  • Have 8 years of experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Asset Management
  • Have 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in conducting formal work sessions and functional analysis presentations
  • Have 8 years of experience in performing hands-on end-to-end system integration and external interface testing
  • Have 8 years of experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Have at least 2 years of experience with MS Teams and Channel communication with a large team

Responsibilities

  • Understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, perform studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system
  • Confer with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports
  • Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program
  • Review computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system
  • Document
  • Support training efforts
  • Perform other project tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have 4 years of experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government)
  • Have 2 years of experience working with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials
  • Have 2 years of experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 General Ledger and Commitment Control
  • Have 2 years of experience with SharePoint
  • Have 1 year of experience with Jira
  • Have 1 year of experience working with the Scrum framework
