Summary

Join Two Six Technologies as a Lead Systems Architect and contribute to building cutting-edge analysis and decision support platforms for US Government customers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years experience in cybersecurity or related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience architecting large cyber, IT, or other software systems
  • Creation and delivery of at least one (1) large cyber, IT, or other software system, to include system- and component-level acceptance tests
  • Experience presenting technical plans and status reports up to an executive level, and able to tune highly technical discussions to the audience
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a clearance up to TS/SCI level
  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance are required up to TS/SCI

Responsibilities

  • Architect large software platforms for US Government customers, to include the creation and definition of overall system plans, system design, system segmentation, and segment interfaces identify and develop innovative technical approaches to fulfill customer requirements and accomplish program objectives
  • Work with cross-functional teams to translate architecture and customer requirements into technical requirements. This may include recommending new cross-functional teams and assisting teams during development and delivery
  • Research, assess, and recommend technologies, as well as financial and personnel resourcing for optimal system development and delivery
  • Define and oversee system- and component-level acceptance tests
  • Develop and maintain risk plans, and respond to known and identified architecture issues
  • Facilitate internal and external communications on technical plans and development progress
  • Directly contribute to developing software solutions to support architecture objectives, when require
  • Mentor more junior engineers and developers, and help to align tasking with their career goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Prior work integrating large cyber, IT, or other software systems into cloud environments, such as AWS and MS Azure
  • Experience with solving integration problems relative to microservices-based architectures, including Kubernetes-based platforms
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams that were not under your direct supervision
  • General CI/CD knowledge and experience
  • Experience with large cyber, IT, or other software prototype and first-release systems
  • Experience with cost-benefits analysis of large cyber, IT, or other software systems
  • Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
