Systems Engineer

Join Medvantx as a Software Engineer and contribute to improving medication access through innovative technology. This remote, full-time role focuses on backend application development, data integration, and reporting solutions using Power BI. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to develop scalable solutions for Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). Requirements

• Strong backend development experience with RESTful APIs - Back-end: .NET, C#
• Proficiency in Azure native application components, Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Database: Azure SQL DB and MS SQL for modeling, migration, and integration tasks
• Front-end: Vue.js, HTML, CSS, React
• Skilled knowledge in ETL processes and data migration, SQL Server Integration and Reporting Services (SSIS/SSRS)
• BI & Reporting: Power BI reporting and dashboard development, understanding of data models
• Knowledge of Pharmacy Management Information Systems or Electronic Medical Records
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or comparable work experience
• 5+ year's experience in a software engineering, development operations engineering, database administration, or product development role

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions with a focus on 60% backend and 40% frontend development
• Support legacy systems while contributing to the development of new systems built on the Microsoft stack (Azure, .NET)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions
• Collaborate with data analysts and data engineers to support ETL Processes and data warehousing initiatives
• Provide input on technical decisions and contribute to the overall architecture of the software systems
• Manage support tickets and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
• Support Sales meetings with prospects from a technical perspective as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Product Development Processes
• Working knowledge of agile product development practices
• Working knowledge of Power BI Reporting and data warehouses
