Summary

Join Netcompany as a Systems Engineer - Nutanix and play a key role in deploying and operating new infrastructure based on Nutanix and Citrix. This operational infrastructure project focuses on implementing Nutanix and Citrix Workspace to support VDI and application delivery. As a Systems Engineer, you will provide expert advice, elaborate design documentation, deliver the design and configuration of technologies, operate IT services, provide technical support, create and test standard operational procedures, and implement and maintain IT systems. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in systems administration with HCI solutions, and experience with Nutanix infrastructure. The work will be carried out from the client's premises in Luxembourg or remotely within the EU, with at least 50% physical presence required. Requirements

  • Bachelor's level or 3 years of higher education or equivalent in professional experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in systems administration, with relevance to the tasks described above and working in Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions
  • Previous experience in designing, implementing and operating Nutanix Infrastructure
  • In-depth knowledge and proven hands-on expertise in the administration of enterprise infrastructure, system and datacenters
  • Knowledge of standard monitoring and management tools
  • Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
  • Collaborative and proactive approach with hands on attitude

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice, technology watch, architectural considerations, risk analysis, gap analysis, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in the area of Nutanix System engineering
  • Elaborate design documentation, with consultation with stakeholders
  • Elaborate vision documents focused upon systems components
  • Deliver the design, installation and configuration of these technologies
  • Operate IT services according to agreed service levels, ITSM best practices, internal policies and procedures
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level of technical support, register and troubleshoot incidents and escalating to external parties
  • Create and test of standard operational procedures backups, restore, monitoring etc
  • Implement, configure, administer, monitor and maintain the IT systems to deliver a 24/7 secure, reliable and efficient service for CMS and the whole organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • General knowledge of networking, ICT infrastructure, systems and knowledge of ITIL best practices in ICT operations
  • Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment
  • Proven hands-on experience with other Citrix solutions
  • Previous experience IT automation
