Summary

Join iT1, a leading technology solution provider, as a Systems Engineer II, Infrastructure, and become a critical point of contact between iT1 Consulting, the organization, and our customers. This role involves network troubleshooting, system administration, and ensuring adherence to iT1 standards. You will support, monitor, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, resolving internal and client problems within the NOC team's responsibilities. The position requires intermediate-level troubleshooting skills in various areas, including networks (Meraki, Cisco, VPN), Windows systems, and Azure. You will also provide internal IT support and manage active directory. This remote position offers a Monday-Friday night shift (8:00 pm - 4:30 am AZ time).

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of network support experience
  • 5-7 years of previous infrastructure support experience
  • 5-7 years of O365 support experience
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Computer Science/Technology (preferred)
  • Established track record in IT technologies (Linux/Windows Servers, Active Directory, Data Center and Client/Server Application Support)

Responsibilities

  • Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software related issues
  • Research, resolve, and respond to internal and client issues within scope of the NOC teamโ€™s responsibilities in a timely manner
  • Intermediate level of network troubleshooting and configuration (Meraki, Cisco, VPN tunnel creation, etc.)
  • Intermediate level of troubleshooting Windows based systems, i.e., Windows 10, file servers and Windows Server platforms
  • Intermediate level of troubleshooting in Azure i.e., server, storage, and networking, active directory services
  • Supporting O365 office productivity software i.e., Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc
  • Provide internal IT support for sales and operations staff to include basic computer troubleshooting, phone, and email support
  • Advanced level of active directory management
  • Maintain and develop required diagrams, documentation, and procedures of Internal/Client environments
  • Update and maintain IT asset management records
  • Be a point of escalation for technical support issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certifications or experience
  • Experience with monitoring platforms and tools
  • Experience with using and/or modifying JSON scripts
  • Experience interacting with external customers
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Good documentation skills
  • Ability to accurately follow written technical work instructions
  • Able to work in a structured environment
  • Strong organization, time management, and prioritizing skills
  • CCNA
  • CCNP
  • Azure Administrator
