Summary
Join BryceTech as a Systems Engineering and Technical Advisor Program Manager (SETA PM) to support our Federal Government Customer, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). You will provide logistics, management, analytic, and procurement staffing support services to the ASPR Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA). This role involves working with senior leadership and various agencies, assisting with program vision, design, acquisition, and execution, coordinating stakeholders, identifying emerging requirements, leading technical discussions, and overseeing program progress. Requirements
- Graduate degree (or higher) in related area of expertise
- Experience in the Public Health Sector
- Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering or related field
- 10-15 yearsβ experience in their specific area of expertise
- 5-yearsβ experience in clinical trials and epidemiological research
Responsibilities
- Assist with the vision, design, acquisition and execution of programs in support of the Government Program Director(s)
- Coordinate and integrate amongst Government Directors and potential stakeholders, interagency partners, and user communities regarding areas of collaboration, needs, emerging industrial and academic capabilities and technologies
- Identify and review emerging requirements and opportunities for transition of selected technology programs
- Assist in leading technical discussions with Government and Industry regarding program concepts, funded projects, strategies, and transition concepts
- Identify, evaluate, and accelerate innovative projects to advance BARDA initiatives
- Assist in leading program oversight from inception of projects through transition with attention on programmatic metrics and milestones (cost, schedule, and adherence to contractual deliverables)
- Develop and manage program plans and financial tools to provide appropriate oversight to a number of programs and budgets in a portfolio
- Analyze and evaluate programs, plans, and metrics to align with mission and program goals
- Able to identify program risks and problems and assist with mitigation strategies
- Assist with the design, procurement, and execution of programs in support of the Government Program Director(s)
- Coordinate amongst government Program directors, stakeholders, interagency partners, and potential user communities
- Identify opportunities and assist with transition of selected programs
- Provide contract management and acquisition support to program
- Assist in development and editing of various documents and briefings
- Organize, coordinate and host technical meetings, workshops, etc
