Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor of Science in a computer/technology-related field or equivalent relevant experience
  • Have 2+ years of experience in technical support for a mid-size organization
  • Possess experience in Networking, Windows & Microsoft 365 Support, along with hardware installation
  • Have experience in troubleshooting network issues, network testing, tracing, and a high-level ability to troubleshoot, service, and repair equipment
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Be detail-oriented and able to follow established protocols and processes
  • Be able to write and understand basic SQL queries
  • Be able to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines; solve problems requiring creativity, initiative, and drive; be self-motivated
  • Have a service-oriented disposition with a willingness to go the โ€˜extra mileโ€™ to connect and coordinate with internal experts and third-party vendors in support of a resolution of the issue for the end user

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the database for both film and F&B catalog and coordinate with technology, operational, and marketing leadership on design, implementation, and maintenance of product, pricing, and inventory specifics for each
  • Perform periodic maintenance on cinema POS systems, projection equipment, digital signage, sound systems, and servers. This includes daily TMS checks and leadership in managing content and key distribution to all locations
  • Deploy software, hardware, AV, and networking equipment on an as-needed basis
  • Provide basic training to theater managers or new technicians to facilitate troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Collaborate and receive direction from technology leadership to support theaters and technology infrastructure and ensure IT systems, Networks, and Telecom services are following established methodology and quality standards
  • Provide remote, and on-site, subject matter expertise to the theater management team, and Operations Management in the diagnosis and resolution of critical hardware and software issues
  • Provide primary on-call support during after-hours and weekends for 1 week per month
  • Maintain an extensive understanding of the cinema industryโ€™s business operation to support our theaters and maintain our POS solution effectively and efficiently
  • Complete all requests for reports, information, and administrative tasks for the department and/or company
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the company as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess familiarity with Point of Sale software (specifically Vista and Toast)
  • Have 2+ years of projection experience
