Summary

Join Quest Defense's Talent Acquisition Team as a highly motivated recruiter to support leading Aerospace companies. You will locate and screen applicants, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring process. The ideal candidate will have 6-12 years of Aerospace/Defense recruiting experience, a BS degree, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for meeting hiring targets, improving applicant-to-hire ratios, and prioritizing client requirements. The position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative environment with a dynamic team. Location is Cincinnati, Ohio, with remote options.

Requirements

  • 6-12 Years of Aerospace/Defense and/or Engineering recruiting experience
  • Minimum BS Degree preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to use cold or warm calling methods to recruit or research potential applicants
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize in a demanding, fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and social media applications
  • Excellent analytical skills to track metrics and interpret data for strategic recruiting campaigns
  • A professional, courteous demeanor on the phone, video conferencing and in-person
  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to network and establish professional relationships
  • Availability to travel within the United States to attend job fairs and networking events
  • US Citizen/Or US Person required

Responsibilities

  • Locate qualified, potential applicants using databases or online job posting boards
  • Communicate with potential applicants by phone, email, or in person
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates for various positions within an organization
  • Apply principles of behavioral interviewing to access the qualifications of candidates
  • Investigate referrals, references, and social media sources to formulate a well-rounded view of applicants
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with colleges and local organizations to participate in job fairs or networking events
  • Sourcing and first-level evaluation of candidates for all hiring, drive process improvements in our recruiting processes (e.g. skill evaluation, tools and processes, best practices in candidate handling)
  • Planning and create hiring plans
  • Report status of hiring plans, identify improvement opportunities and corrective plan
  • Meet hiring targets within SLAs (quality of talent, time to fill and number of positions)
  • Improve applicant to hire ratio and time taken from application to hire
  • Prioritize client requirements for optimum coverage
  • Ensure requirements coverage, submissions, negotiations, interview co-ordination, issue escalation and resolution, on-boarding of resources for client requirements
  • Prepare attracting hiring packages and communicate with selected applicants to offer employment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Significant recruiting experience for a high-volume organization, agency, or executive search firm strongly preferred in Engineering, Defense, or Aerospace
  • Ability to source cleared candidates
  • Like to work in a fast paced, creative environment
