Summary

Join Underdog, a rapidly growing sports gaming company, as a recruiter for a 6-month contract position. You will source and engage top-tier talent across technical and non-technical roles using various methods. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to understand hiring needs. Conduct initial candidate screenings and act as a company ambassador. Maintain accurate candidate records and provide actionable insights by analyzing hiring metrics. Participate in regular team syncs to share updates and progress. This role requires experience in sourcing or technical recruiting, particularly in engineering, product, or design.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in sourcing or technical recruiting, with expertise in identifying and attracting Engineering, Product, or Design talent
• Strong ability to assess candidate qualifications, both technically and culturally
• Proven success in building trusted relationships with hiring teams, acting as a strategic partner in the recruitment process
• Experience contributing to talent acquisition projects or initiatives that have driven impactful results
• Metrics-driven mindset with the ability to navigate fast-paced, dynamic environments effectively
• A proactive and resourceful team player who thrives in solving complex hiring challenges

Responsibilities

• Source and engage with top-tier talent across technical and non-technical roles using platforms like LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and other innovative sourcing methods
• Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs, team dynamics, and long-term goals
• Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess skills, qualifications, and alignment with company culture
• Act as an ambassador for the company, sharing a compelling brand story to attract high-quality talent
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), such as Greenhouse, ensuring a seamless and transparent hiring pipeline
• Provide actionable insights by compiling and analyzing hiring metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing creative solutions
• Participate in regular hiring team syncs to share pipeline updates, insights, and candidate progress
