Summary
Join our dynamic Human Resources team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist! This role supports recruiting for high-volume and strategic salaried positions, focusing on providing a strong candidate experience and creative sourcing. You will be responsible for drafting and posting job openings, utilizing sourcing strategies, advising hiring managers, screening candidates, conducting interviews, maintaining records, and scheduling interviews. The position also involves managing candidate experience, assisting with onboarding, and supporting the HR team with administrative tasks. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with 2+ years of related experience and familiarity with applicant tracking systems. The salary range is $60,000-$68,000.
Requirements

- Experience with an Applicant Tracking System
- Basic understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes and employer branding strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional written communication skills that are clear, concise and convey messaging effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Familiarity with sourcing techniques and tools
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 pounds, occasional bending and reaching
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Draft and post new job openings in Applicant Tracking System
- Utilize creative sourcing strategies and recruitment technologies to cultivate top talent and build robust talent pipelines
- Become a subject matter expert on all things recruiting; educate and advise hiring managers and teams on our process
- Coordinate with the hiring team to formulate thoughtful interview questions
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications
- Document accurate and thorough notes after phone screens, and share with hiring managers as needed
- Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics for candidates and hiring managers, to occasionally include travel arrangements
- Provide timely updates and communication to candidates throughout the hiring process. Ensure that candidates have a positive experience throughout the recruitment process. Promote the DWC employer brand
- Assist with onboarding of new hires as needed, including offer letters and background checks
- Support the HR team with other administrative tasks and projects as needed
