Summary

The job is for a remote Teaching Assistant position in Correlation One’s virtual Information Security training program. The role involves supporting synchronous and asynchronous sessions, providing office hours, grading assignments, and working with fellow TAs to improve the learner experience. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in the Information Security field, a degree in a technical field, CompTIA Security+ certification or another related certification, previous learner support experience, preferably in a remote environment, and be located in Europe or the United Kingdom.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in the Information Security field (or another related field) with a degree or strong credentials
• Degree in a technical field
• CompTIA Security+ certification or another related certification
• Previous learner support experience, preferably in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Participate in all live lectures, providing helpful and fast responses via Slack
• Provide 6 hours of individual office hour sessions for Fellows each week
• Work with fellow TAs and Lead Instructors on ways to improve the learner experience
• Host review sessions or other support mechanisms to ensure the progress and satisfaction of your Fellows
• Grade your Fellows’ submissions, providing feedback and ongoing learning support

Benefits

Compensation range specific to location and takes into account various factors, with a reasonable estimate of $28-32/hr for this position
