Technical Business Analyst - Product Development & Management Intern

This internship offers a challenging, immersive experience contributing to groundbreaking AI projects in capital markets. You will conduct market research, develop go-to-market strategies, assist in crafting investor presentations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role requires a strong technical background in Machine Learning, AI, LLMs, or cloud engineering, along with excellent analytical and communication skills. This is a paid internship with hourly compensation equivalent to CAD $32/hour, offering remote work with hybrid options in Toronto. The internship is full-time (30-40 hours/week) or part-time (minimum 15 hours/week) for a minimum of 520 hours (3 months).

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or completed a Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
• Technical knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models, or Cloud Engineering
• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and problem-solving
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using tools for business analysis
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Conduct insightful market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape
• Contribute to the creation of go-to-market strategies, including market segmentation, target audience identification, and competitive positioning
• Develop strategic business plans to drive growth and market expansion
• Assist in capital market strategies, crafting compelling investor presentations and engagement activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with broader business objectives
• Apply knowledge of Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence/Large Language Model or Cloud Engineering concepts to inform business and product strategies
• Provide risk analysis and recommend internal controls to strengthen operational and strategic outcomes
