Technical FP&A

Summary

Join Wakam's Finance office as a Technical FP&A team member! Your main mission will be managing Wakam's technical margin, including quarterly closing, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You will also develop revenue monitoring, participate in cost accounting and business case development, and contribute to finance transformation projects. This role requires a bac + 5 degree (ideally in finance/insurance), at least 5 years of experience in a similar position with extensive insurance knowledge, strong communication and analytical skills, advanced Excel skills, and fluency in English and French. Requirements

• Education level bac + 5 desired (Business School/ Engineer School) with ideally a specialty in finance/Insurance
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position with extensive insurance knowledge
• Very good communicator, analytical and synthetic
• Be proactive to improve the operational efficiency of its scope
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Excellent command of English and French (essential)

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly closing of the technical margin
• Realize budgets and forecast of the technical margin in collaboration with the commercial, technical and reinsurance departments and analyze variances
• Develop monthly revenue monitoring
• Participate in cost accounting built annually
• Participate in the construction of new business cases
• Actively participate in various finance transformation projects
• Conduct of ad hoc studies
