Technical Implementation Consultant

Summary

The job is for a Technical Implementation Consultant on a freelance basis with a Workflow SaaS company. The role involves working remotely (preferably based in the UK or Europe) for 10-30 hours per week. Responsibilities include documentation, technical solution validation, delivery, managing solution gaps, assessing customer requirements, resolving technical issues, facilitating user acceptance testing, training, and go live, and advising customers on how to best leverage implemented technology and services.

Requirements

• Organized and detail oriented, able to collaborate effectively to get things done while providing an excellent customer experience in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
• Experience in a client facing role, preferably at a SaaS, IT or consulting company
• Demonstrated client empathy; ability to de-escalate tense situations
• Ability to understand and communicate high level technical concepts related to software configuration and platform integration
• Ability to effectively work on multiple projects at the same time

Responsibilities

• Documentation of project progress as per project management best practices (meeting minutes, project plan updates, weekly status reports)
• Technical solution validation via customer workshops and technical configuration within our platform
• Successful technical solution delivery to the customers
• Management of solution gaps and customer expectations
• Gather and assess customer requirements versus technology and capabilities
• Resolve technical issues related to implementation
• Facilitate user acceptance testing, training and customer go live
• Manage transition of customer to Customer Success and Technical Support teams post go live
• Understand customers’ needs and work with the internal team to advise customers on how to best leverage implemented technology and services to achieve their goals
