Summary

Join MerQube as a Technical Product Manager to shape the development and evolution of our cutting-edge indexing platform. You will work closely with financial product managers to understand our business and customers, define the technical product roadmap for the platform engineering team, and ensure that product development aligns with business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Proven track record of 3+ years of experience in product management in the technology industry
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with a proven ability to adapt to and lead in a continuously transforming environment
  • Experience in the financial services or investment management industry, particularly with systematic investing, is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders (Product Management, Engineering, Sales & Operations) to understand market needs, gather requirements, define product vision & strategy with scalability and supportability in mind
  • Speak with both external and internal stakeholders customers to build product judgment, understand how our product is used and supported, and gather input for future enhancements
  • Collaborate with Product management to understand the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business goals and customer feedback
  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve operational processes, and increase efficiency within the product development lifecycle
  • Translate product requirements into clear user stories, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria for the engineering team
  • Collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality product features and improvements on time and within budget
  • Coordinate testing and define success criteria for testing and product acceptance
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the product, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation
