Summary

Join insightsoftware as a Technical Project Manager and contribute to the success of our global solutions for the Office of the CFO. You will work closely with various stakeholders to manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to goals. This role demands strong project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to navigate a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining project plans, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and proven enterprise project management expertise. This is a remote position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent business experience
  • Experience managing enterprise projects
  • High level of agility and ability manage change
  • Ability to work proactively and constructively in a fast-paced, collaborative, matrixed team environment
  • Communication skills; high level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Presentation skills; high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the project plan to outline specific project tasks, milestone dates, and deliverables
  • Define and manage project scope, budget, schedules, and timelines
  • Prepare, distribute, and present progress reports
  • Organize and lead project status and working meetings
  • Manage changes, risks, actions, issues, and decisions and correct deviations from plan
  • Hold teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work
  • Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
  • Support Product Owners in managing customer expectations for project deliverables
  • Manage stakeholder communications and help to implement an effective system of project governance
  • Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team
  • Identify resource needs for the project and source these resources
  • Deliver the project accurately and in accordance with contract terms
  • Maintain project documentation including documented project approvals, meeting minutes, etc
  • Plan for and monitor project expenditures to ensure they are in line with the budget
  • Provide regular updates on financial status and progress including preparation of financial reports which detail spending, forecasting, and overall budget health
  • Know and use all key customer resolution tools across all service groups to facilitate rapid resolution of customer concerns
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
  • Be mobile and travel to client locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches, like Kanban, and familiarity with traditional project management approaches
  • PMP or similar certification
