Technical Project Manager

Summary

Join VeilSun as a Technical Project Manager and be responsible for hands-on project management across multiple business applications. You will work directly with business customers, managing the development of solutions. This role requires 5+ years of experience in the software industry and strong communication and problem-solving skills. We offer a salary of $80,000 to $110,000 and an exceptional benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), PTO, and sick time. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with 8+ years of experience managing software projects. You will collaborate closely with both business customers and the internal team, leveraging your expertise to deliver innovative technology applications.

Requirements

• Have 5 or more years of experience managing the development of solutions for customers
• Possess 5+ years of experience in the software industry
• Be self-driven, independent, and accountable
• Be detail-oriented with a strong sense of curiosity and an intense desire to succeed
• Have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Be able to understand business needs, articulate trade-offs, and discuss solutions with both business and development teams
• Be able to vet business and technical requirements
• Be willing to learn from and freely share knowledge with others, and be comfortable participating in cross-functional teams
• Be able to work independently or on a team, and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Be a natural problem solver with a strong awareness of risk
• Be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and be comfortable with initially undefined projects
• Have intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
• Proactively identify opportunities for client upsell
• Be able to learn QuickBase and/or other current technologies the company is using to create solutions for clients
• Have experience with Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies
• Have experience with Process-driven applications

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for hands-on project management across multiple business applications and integrations in various states of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Work closely with business customers and the internal team

Preferred Qualifications

• Have 3 years of Negotiation experience
• Have 3 years of Time Management experience
• Have 2+ years of QuickBase Experience
