Technical Solutions Engineer

Summary

Join Luzmo as a Solutions Engineer and leverage your data expertise to empower SaaS vendors. You will translate client goals into actionable insights using our embedded analytics platform. This role blends data analysis, dashboard creation, and client interaction. Based in our New York City office, you'll build data pipelines, optimize databases, and guide clients on best practices. Requirements

• Love juggling data around and have strong analytical skills
• Have experience in building and optimizing data pipelines and architectures
• Have experience with relational databases (eg. PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL solutions (eg. Clickhouse, Elasticsearch, Snowflake, ...)
• Have experience in web application development
• Develop moderately complex code in at least one programming language like Node.js, Python, Perl, Java or similar
• Have knowledge on communicating with external web services (RESTful services)
• Have a curious mindset and are always looking for better, cheaper, more maintainable, ... solutions
• Be a confident and self-driven person, naturally engaging with clients & colleagues and independently managing your time and projects
• Speak English fluently
• Work EST business hours
• Be open to working in our Brooklyn office on a regular basis

Responsibilities

• Help customers get the most out of their data by assisting them with their implementation of Luzmo
• Support customers with various topics such as their data and infrastructure setup
• Advise them on best practices in visualization
• Guide them in the technical setup and integration of Luzmo in their software
• Create and maintain data pipelines that open up client data to Luzmo’s platform
• Advise on and/or implement database and data model optimizations
• Work out Proof of Concept integrations
• Help grow our platform by identifying and shaping platform improvements
