Summary

Join DoiT, a global technology company specializing in cloud-driven solutions, as a Technical Writer based remotely in Spain, the United Kingdom, or Ireland. You will be part of the UX/UI team, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and designers to create and maintain customer-facing documentation for the DoiT Help Center and Developer Hub. This role requires strong technical writing skills, experience with documentation tools, and a passion for learning new technologies. You will be responsible for becoming a subject matter expert in DoiT's products, managing documentation tasks, and contributing to technical knowledge articles. Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in writing, editing, and reviewing technical documentation for B2B SaaS products
  • Proven ability to gather information from multiple channels, dive deep, and synthesize the information into a cohesive narrative
  • Proven ability to operate with flexibility, in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
  • Self-organized and a self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough and tenacious
  • Experience building documentation websites with static site generators and markup languages like Markdown/MDX; proficiency with docs-as-code tools like GitHub
  • Understanding API best practices; familiar with API specs and documentation tools
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert in our product
  • Create, update and maintain customer-facing documentation at DoiT Help Center and the Developer Hub
  • Collaborate with Product managers, engineers, and designers to gain an in-depth understanding of our product portfolio, identify documentation needs and opportunities from a customer-centric view
  • Manage multiple documentation tasks in any given sprint
  • Contribute to other technical knowledge articles at DoiT
  • Participate in tooling and process improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of cloud technology, e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes
  • Experience and knowledge of DocOps
  • A great sense of humor and enjoys having fun at work
