Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to create, update, and maintain customer-facing documentation. Manage multiple documentation tasks, contribute to technical knowledge articles, and participate in tooling and process improvements. This remote role, based in Spain, the UK, Ireland, Estonia, Sweden, or the Netherlands, requires 4+ years of experience in technical documentation for B2B SaaS products and a basic understanding of cloud technology. Excellent communication skills and experience with DocOps and docs-as-code tools are essential. Requirements
- 4+ years experience in writing, editing, and reviewing technical documentation for B2B SaaS products
- Basic understanding of cloud technology, e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes
- Experience and knowledge of DocOps
- Proven ability to gather information from multiple channels, dive deep, and synthesize the information into a cohesive narrative
- Proven ability to operate with flexibility, in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
- Self-organized and a self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough and tenacious
- Experience building documentation websites with static site generators and markup languages like Markdown/MDX; proficiency with docs-as-code tools like GitHub
- Understanding API best practices; familiar with API specs and documentation tools
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Responsibilities
- Become a subject matter expert in our product
- Create, update and maintain customer-facing documentation at DoiT Help Center and the Developer Hub
- Collaborate with Product managers, engineers, and designers to gain an in-depth understanding of our product portfolio, identify documentation needs and opportunities from a customer-centric view
- Manage multiple documentation tasks in any given sprint
- Contribute to other technical knowledge articles at DoiT
- Participate in tooling and process improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one cloud certification
- Basic level of front-end coding experience
- A great sense of humor and enjoys having fun at work
