Summary

Join ServiceNow's Experience Team as an Emerging Talent Intern for a 6-month program (July 7, 2025 - December 12, 2025). This full-time, 40-hour-per-week internship offers the opportunity to build skills and contribute to critical work. The role involves creating product documentation, learning DITA/XML authoring, collaborating with development teams, and conducting peer reviews. The position is open to various US locations (remote and onsite), with a relocation stipend offered if applicable. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided. Requirements

  • Actively enrolled university students, or recent university graduates are not eligible
  • Ability to commit full-time during program dates
  • Position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship
  • Have the ability to understand and learn technical products and concepts
  • Passionate about creating content
  • Have the ability to obtain information through research, interviews, and experimentation
  • Interact collaboratively with peers from different cultural backgrounds, beliefs, opinions, and views
  • Ability to provide writing samples demonstrating your ability to research, analyze, and apply critical thinking to a subject, sample web pages or other multimedia communications project

Responsibilities

  • Create product documentation for end users and system administrators
  • Learn to author in a variety of environments, primarily DITA/XML
  • Research, write, and ensure the accuracy of content that covers current and future releases of our product
  • Work closely with development teams in an Agile environment
  • Conduct peer reviews of documentation
  • Collaborate with other information developers to produce and share content for different types of deliverables (blogs, product documentation, knowledge base, video)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry
  • Self-taught, certification/bootcamp, and community college graduates from liberal arts and writing backgrounds, are highly encouraged to apply
  • Experience working in markup languages such as DITA, HTML, XML, or SGML, is a plus
