Requirements

• Proven track record in a similar technology leadership role in e-commerce and general software development projects
• Experience in overseeing the delivery of commerce platforms and understanding customer experience (CX) optimization
• Deep understanding of software engineering, system architecture, and project management within an e-commerce context
• Demonstrated experience in providing expert guidance to clients, managing diverse e-commerce technology projects, and fostering strong client relationships
• Proven ability to mentor team members and foster a high-performance culture in large multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level, ensuring e-commerce technology solutions align with business goals
• Experience in identifying and managing a wide array of risks, including technical, staffing, scoping, and client relationship risks, within an e-commerce context
• Excellent client-facing skills and experience in vendor selection and management
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to foster trust and empowerment with e-commerce clients, stakeholders, and team members
• Calm, positive, supportive, and solution-oriented mindset, able to promote a collaborative atmosphere within the team

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance as the primary client-facing member of the Technology and Account Leadership Team on an account or project
• Oversee and guide the work of software engineers and technical team members, ensuring high-quality outcomes in e-commerce solutions
• Develop expertise within the team in delivering cutting-edge e-commerce solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business goals
• Identify and nurture growth within e-commerce projects, delivering business value for both the client and our organization
• Identify, prevent, and mitigate risks that might impact the success of the engagement
• Position our consultancy as a leader in delivering e-commerce solutions
