Summary
Join CopilotIQ + Biofourmis, a leader in AI-driven in-home healthcare, as a Telehealth Registered Nurse! This part-time weekend and night shift position (Friday-Sunday, 11 PM-7 AM EST) involves remotely monitoring patients, tracking vital signs, conducting virtual assessments, and collaborating with the clinical care team. You will create and manage nursing care plans, triage patients, provide virtual medication administration, and educate patients and families. The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 5 years of experience in triage, critical care, or emergency room settings, a current compact state RN license, and California RN license. Proficiency in EMRs and various communication applications is essential.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree (BSN) in Nursing (preferred)
- Have a minimum of 5+ years of nursing experience in Triage, Critical Care, or Emergency Room
- Hold a current and active Compact State RN License (NLC)
- Hold a current and active California State RN License
- Hold a current and active RN State License to practice in as many of the following states: NY, CA, IL, FL, MO, KY, RI
- Be able to learn and proficiently use multiple EMRs and various communication applications, including Google products
- Be comfortable with the virtual use of continuous and episodic vital sign monitoring devices
- Be able to work from home in a HIPAA compliant environment
- Be available for some holiday and weekend coverage
Responsibilities
- Create and manage nursing care plans
- Triage patients using protocols to determine what measures can be taken by the nurse and when to escalate to appropriate level of care
- Provide a virtual nursing assessment
- Administer medication virtually
- Monitor patient vital signs and survey responses, and triage, review, respond and document
- Review trends in patient data and changes in condition and communicate with members of the clinical care team
- Document interactions and interventions
- Educate patients on their disease process
- Educate patients and family in preventative care which promotes health and well-being
- Answer, direct, and follow up on incoming calls
- Contact patients as required for clinical follow-up
- Recognize urgent or emergent situations, seek assistance of the medical provider, and initiate appropriate emergency interventions as directed
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess EPIC proficiency
- Have occasional availability to work across shifts (day-evening-overnight)
