Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software testing leadership roles, within a digital business or technology-driven organisation of global scale
• Strong technical expertise in software testing methodologies, automation, and quality frameworks
• Proven ability to enhance both technical performance and customer experience through testing
• Data-driven, using metrics and insights to improve testing performance and decision-making
• Track record of adopting innovative tools and techniques to boost testing efficiency and quality
• Highly collaborative, building strong relationships with engineering, product, and design teams
• Experienced in embedding automated testing strategies into agile development processes at scale

Responsibilities

• Define and lead a testing strategy encompassing all areas of quality, ensuring alignment with Envato's development lifecycle and goals
• Drive the adoption of testing tools and techniques to enhance software quality, reliability, and development velocity
• Keep updated on industry advancements, regularly introducing innovations that boost testing efficiency
• Implement effective test data and environment management to streamline product development
• Establish metrics to monitor testing performance, using insights to improve product quality
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to ensure testing efforts align with customer value
• Embed testing practices into product development, promoting a 'shift-left' quality approach
• Regularly assess the cost-effectiveness of testing efforts, ensuring they align with business objectives
• Lead, mentor, and develop a globally distributed testing team, fostering technical growth
• Build a community of practice for testing, encouraging knowledge sharing and skill development across teams
