Test Specialist I

Summary

The job is for a Latitude AI Test Specialist I who will operate and test automated driving systems in prototype vehicles. The role requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent, valid driver's license, and ability to meet Latitude AI's minimum driving record requirements. The employee will be responsible for safe and compliant operation of the vehicle, efficient completion of testing and data collection missions, and escalation of system performance feedback.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with one to two years of employment experience required
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to meet Latitude AI’s minimum driving record requirements

Responsibilities

• Operate a Latitude Test Vehicle; safely and compliantly
• Perform all vehicle inspection, start-up, launch, and shutdown tasks
• Follow procedures and processes to the highest standard
• Escalate potential safety and performance issues; promptly and clearly
• Document events throughout the day to aid in development of driving technology
• Communicate feedback on system performance; strengths and improvement areas
• Partner closely with cross-team stakeholders to execute operations to meet developer needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Vehicle or technical product development experience
• Working knowledge of Atlassian Jira basics
