Testing Consultant

Summary

Join Management Solutions, a national award-winning management consulting firm, as a Testing Consultant. You will enable full-stack solutions through team planning and ecosystem integration, accelerating delivery and driving quality across the application lifecycle. Responsibilities include performing various test events and reviews, developing test cases, identifying defects, and providing status updates. This remote position requires a US citizenship, a bachelor's degree, and 3+ years of experience in system testing with a focus on automation. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Requirements

• Be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance
• Have a Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Have 3+ years of experience in system testing with a focus on automation testing
• Have experience with Agile development methodologies and software testing processes
• Have an understanding of the various aspects of the system development life cycle (SDLC)
• Have familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control (AzureDevOps)
• Be detail-oriented and a team player
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Reside in the United States

Responsibilities

• Perform test events, including System Integration Test (SIT), User Acceptance Test (UAT), Site Validation Test, and Mission Acceptance Test
• Perform formal test reviews, including Test Readiness Review and Post Test Review
• Perform test strategy activities, including Requirements Verification & System Validation, Customer Requirements Validation, Test Case Development, Test Incident Identification & Management, Test Incident Report (TIR) Processing, and Test Metrics Management
• Compile or develop test cases for Test Plan
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects according to Test Lead guidance
• Conduct tests in accordance with Test Plan
• Prepare and provide regular status updates to Test Lead
• Input test results to test tools
• Track progress of test execution and test results in applicable test tools
• Evaluate efficiency of testing software and recommend alternative solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience authoring Test cases and documenting test results – preferred with experience with AzureDevOps
