Summary
Join Included Health as the Therapy Manager, Behavioral Health, leading practice management for psychologists and therapists. You will oversee daily clinical operations, manage hiring, drive communication, and lead performance management. Success requires motivation, detail-orientation, and strong analytical skills to manage complex situations. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential, demanding problem-solving and confident leadership. This role involves a blend of administrative tasks and limited clinical care, requiring a minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience and two years of healthcare people management.
Requirements
- At least three years of clinical post independent licensure experience as a Masters Level Therapist or Psychologist
- Minimum two years experience with healthcare people management
- Licensed provider in good standing with your state board(s)
- Active and unrestricted license in Home State
- Consistent demonstration of high quality and strong performance
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with patients, clinicians, colleagues and leadership and develop strong relationships across all levels
Responsibilities
- Review clinical documentation for accuracy, sound clinical judgment, and adherence to evidence-based protocols and workflows
- Review quality metric dashboards, identify trends or issues and address them with individual clinicians to drive improvement
- Recommend and develop individual performance improvement plans when needed
- Manage clinician escalations, quality concerns, and contract compliance issues as they arise
- Assist with clinician communications, practice announcements and updates
- Maintain availability for scheduled or drop-in office hours to support clinician needs and inquiries
- Actively participate in team meetings and leadership activities for the Behavioral Health Team
- Interview, onboard, mentor and train Behavioral Health therapy clinicians to ensure high quality practice standards
- Participate in external facing activities such as webinars or conferences when required
- Dedicate approximately 16 hours per month to providing clinical care of patients on the platform; demonstrating exemplary professionalism and clinical quality including timely charting and documentation
