Summary

Join our team as a Trade Support Associate and tackle real-time systems-related challenges with a networking mindset. You'll be responsible for proper bringing-up of the trading environment, managing exchange trading ports connectivity, and troubleshooting hardware faults.

Requirements

  • Graduate / Post-Graduate in technology with an interest in Finance
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience with Linux operating systems
  • Strong command over Python and Bash scripting
  • NISM certification Series-VIII and VII are a must
  • Strong experience in Exchange data center and technology architecture, racking, and cabling
  • Understanding the server, data storage and network hardware, TCP/IP protocols, operating systems, and networking
  • A clear understanding of the Cyber regulations prescribed by SEBI and other regulatory bodies and managing compliance

Responsibilities

  • Proper bringing-up of the trading environment
  • Managing the beginning of the day
  • Troubleshooting breaks arising in trades, positions, drop copy, market broadcasts, and ancillary financial data required to keep the trading up and running in good health
  • Ensure exchange trading ports connectivity
  • Loading of security masters, overnight positions, funds exposures, and troubleshooting, if needed
  • Continuous monitoring of the trading systems
  • Optimization of the trading ports
  • Real-time recon for the trade drop copies and positions
  • Ensure the correct shutdown of all trading components
  • Prepare the system for the next day
  • Support the lifecycle process of physical servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components in the data centers
  • Physical installation and maintenance of server and network components in the data centers with the help of remote hands
  • Troubleshoot hardware faults
  • Coordinate the RMA process with the suppliers
  • Handling incoming and outgoing tech shipments and deliveries
  • Ensure good business relationships with hardware vendors and hosting partners
  • Create and maintain technical documentation of our physical infrastructure and related processes
  • Coordinate and manage periodic regulatory audits such as Internal, Systems, Cyber, and Exchange audits and clean closure
  • Resolution of Exchange and Regulatory alerts/investigations/ suspicious activity
