Summary
Join Inspiresport, the UK's leading school sports development tour provider, as a Tour Coordinator! This hybrid role, based in Manchester (with remote options considered), involves managing school sports tours from administration to operational tasks. You will be the main contact for party leaders, liaise with third-party providers, and ensure efficient tour delivery exceeding client expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar operational role, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a passion for sports and travel. This is a fast-paced role requiring multitasking and strong attention to detail. No two days are the same, making this an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
Requirements
- Have working experience within a similar operational role
- Be confident in planning & managing own tours
- Have exceptional administration & organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Have excellent attention to detail
- IT skills: especially with Microsoft packages (Excel, Word,)
- Have the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Have the ability to keep calm in an often demanding role
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of tour responsibilities including being the contact for party leaders
- Liaise with 3rd party providers on all aspects of the tour e.g accommodation providers
- Complete general administrative tasks as required including coordinating & booking fixtures for a tour & handling any last minute changes
- Form strong relationships including 3rd party providers & party leaders
- Ensure all information is communicated accurately & in a timely manner
- Be fully aware of the years tour schedule & workload
- Proactively seek out opportunities to help other team members as dictated by the booking and urgency of the action required
- Use our company systems and takes personal responsibility for being knowledgeable of our products
- Show flexibility in multi-tasking in different areas as required by other team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of transport management systems and or tracking systems would be highly advantageous
- Have a passion for sport and travel
