They are hiring a candidate to own the review process for a driverless system and act as a liaison between teams. Qualifications include an undergraduate degree, 3+ years of industry experience, and specific skills. Requirements

• Undergrad required; Undergrad or Masters in an engineering discipline preferred
• 3+ years of automotive, robotics, aerospace or related industry experience
• Experience with requirements and metrics for driving behavior evaluations
• Experience with root causing complex systems in structured and unstructured testing
• Experience with methods and standards such as STPA, SOTIF (ISO 21448) and / or UL 4600

Responsibilities

• Own the review process for a driverless system including discovering issues, reporting to appropriate owners and coordinating resolutions through excellent root cause analysis
• Act as a liaison between the Systems Engineering team and the autonomy software development teams to drive progress towards Waabi’s product and safety goals
• Help drive Waabi’s safety culture through application of safety standards and methodologies in your area of responsibility across all supporting teams at Waabi including Systems Engineering, Hardware and Software

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in launching a driverless product
• Experience in the automotive self driving industry
• Experience building software systems from scratch
• Experience in robotics or machine learning
• Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
