Summary

GoFundMe is hiring an independent contractor for a Trust & Safety Analyst I role based in Warsaw. In this position, the employee will provide email and occasional phone support to ensure fundraiser authenticity and safe delivery of funds. They will also conduct customer due diligence reviews and evaluate fundraisers and accounts for unusual activity. The job requires 0-2 years of related experience, C1 fluency in English, and B2 fluency or higher in German. Requirements

  • 0-2 years of related work experience working in trust & safety, payments compliance and/or risk management operations
  • C1 fluency or higher in English required
  • B2 fluency or higher in German required

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality email and occasional phone support to customers and other stakeholders to ensure fundraiser authenticity and safe delivery of funds for beneficiaries
  • Conduct customer due diligence reviews on individuals to support escalation pathways to the Compliance team for enhanced due diligence reviews focusing on sanctions and watchlist screening, Politically Exposed Person(s), Counter-Terrorism Financing, and financial crimes
  • Evaluate fundraiser and account attributes for unusual activity and escalate identified risks for final determination and/or next steps
  • Conduct due diligence on organizations, including identity verification and watchlist management, to ensure entities comply with our Terms of Service and applicable laws and regulations
  • Collect and analyze information on organization’s governance, operations, and financial performance
  • Fielding questions connected to customer due diligence from the Go To Market, Communications, and Public Affairs teams
