Summary

You will play a key role in growing ClassDojo's product experiences and deepening the love for our brand. Collaborate closely with co-founders, leaders, and cross-functional teams to invent and test exciting long-term ideas. This position requires a strategic and tactical approach, leveraging data, research, and intuition to create products that children will love. The ideal candidate possesses at least 4 years of product management experience and a proven ability to achieve product-market fit. Requirements

  • Have at least 4 years of experience in product management
  • Conduct product discovery: qualitative and quantitative research to validate and invalidate ideas
  • Achieve product-market fit with new consumer products
  • Possess strong quantitative skills and comfort with analysis; using data to make decisions
  • Work independently and act as a jack of all trades in earliest stages of product development

Responsibilities

  • Scale new consumer products for our network of tens of millions of children and families, building a global consumer education business
  • Grow ClassDojoโ€™s product experiences from where we are to our next order of magnitude, while deepening love for our brand
  • Work closely with our co-founders, leaders, and cross-functional teams to invent and test exciting long-term ideas
  • Work at both a strategic and tactical level, turning data, research, and intuition into products and experiences that tens of millions of children will love

Preferred Qualifications

  • Achieve product-market fit with new consumer products
  • Have experience as a founder, or an equivalent level of accountability
  • Scale and monetize consumer products, ideally subscription products or marketplaces
  • Have a strong grasp of product strategy
  • Have strong product intuition, and good taste
  • Enjoy speaking with customers, and conducting qualitative user research to inform direction
  • Have strong quantitative skills and comfort with evaluation
  • Work well in resource-constrained environments
  • Move faster than is comfortableโ€”be an instigator
  • Have clear and concise written and spoken communication
  • Have experience with operational / marketplace businesses
  • Have experience in Ed tech / working on products for kids
  • Have experience as a founder, or an equivalent level of accountability
