Join Goodnotes, a company reimagining human-AI interaction, as a Growth Manager to accelerate growth in China. You will lead and execute local growth campaigns across various channels, translate market insights into actionable strategies, and collaborate with global and regional stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing relationships with local media and influencers, identifying growth opportunities, and optimizing campaign performance. The ideal candidate possesses proficiency in Mandarin and English, 5+ years of growth marketing experience, and deep familiarity with Gen-Z Chinese culture and platforms. This fully remote position requires a creative, results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English
  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing or digital marketing , ideally in a consumer tech or mobile app environment
  • Based in Mainland China , with deep familiarity with Gen-Z culture, communities, and platforms (e.g., WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Bilibili)
  • A marketing generalist who understands the full spectrum of digital marketing—from paid media, brand, ASO, to influencer strategy—with deep expertise in at least one core area
  • A creative thinker who develops out-of-the-box ideas and translates them into impactful, engaging campaigns
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills —able to build trusted relationships and influence cross-functional teams at all levels
  • A self-starter with strong execution and problem-solving skills , capable of identifying opportunities and driving continuous improvement without heavy oversight
  • Culturally tuned in , with a sharp instinct for what’s trending and what resonates with our core audiences
  • Adaptable and resilient , thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment and able to shift gears quickly in response to market or business needs
  • Organised and resourcefu l—with a track record of delivering results under tight timelines and limited resources

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute local growth campaigns across digital and offline channels—including performance marketing, influencer activations, ASO initiatives, social media, content partnerships, offline events/activations, and local brand partnerships
  • Translate market insights and cultural trends into actionable, locally-relevant strategies that drive user acquisition, retention, and brand love
  • Work cross-functionally with global and regional stakeholders (including Legal, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams) to align marketing priorities, share insights, and present campaign strategies
  • Own relationships with local media, influencers, and ecosystem partners , identifying collaboration opportunities to amplify Goodnotes’ voice and build credibility and awareness
  • Identify growth opportunities and problem-solve independently , proposing creative and practical solutions even with limited resources or data
  • Manage project timelines, stakeholder expectations, and campaign performance metrics , continuously optimising for impact
  • Stay ahead of internet and platform trends , ensuring Goodnotes is always part of the conversation and relevant to our audience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in organising and executing press events, media briefings, and thought leadership programmes to promote a product or a brand
  • Familiarity with tech start-up ecosystem
  • Experience with content management tools
