Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience as a UI Designer, Product Designer or similar
  • 3+ years of professional experience in web and mobile application design
  • Proactive, independent working style, effective time management with the ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail including typography, layout and visual design skills
  • Demonstrated experience in designing user interfaces for complex software applications
  • Expert knowledge of UI design principles and techniques with proven experience of responsive design and mobile UI (web and app design)
  • In-depth understanding of UX and user-centred design principles
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Strong ability to think critically and strategically about design problems, considering user needs and business goals
  • Working knowledge of the ideation and creation of UI design deliverables: Sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, lo-fi and hi-fi layouts, and prototypes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present design concepts and rationale to diverse stakeholders
  • Proficient in creating rapid interactive prototypes for user testing and stakeholder reviews
  • Proficient in using industry-standard UI design tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe CC
  • Experience or knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and various JavaScript frameworks in interface design
  • Experience or knowledge of Agile/SCRUM process framework
  • Fluent English
  • Work from European Union region and work permit are required

Responsibilities

  • Co-create solutions with high ergonomics, tailored to users’ needs and business objectives
  • Manage design libraries and design systems with adherence to product branding requirements
  • Establish and maintain design systems that promote consistency and efficiency across multiple product platforms
  • Ensure a high standard of visual design by creating aesthetically pleasing and on-brand user interfaces
  • Design innovative user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experiences across various devices and screen sizes
  • Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and validating user flows, collaborating with stakeholders for feedback
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Learn how to use the designer’s toolbox to develop your craft as a member of the Experience Design team
  • Shape the design culture at Xebia, defining standards and participating in setting the development direction
