Summary

The job is a summer 2025 Underwriting Intern position at Concord Group Insurance in the Personal or Commercial Lines Underwriting Department. The intern will receive on-the-job training, mentorship, and work on real projects to learn about various aspects of the insurance industry.

Requirements

• The ability to work as part of a team
• Proven organizational skills
• Effective communication skills including the ability to present and share information, and report analytical findings
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
• At least a 3.0 GPA

Responsibilities

• Reviewing New Business, Renewals and Inspections
• Participating in large loss reviews
• Joining our Marketing team on agency visits
• Completing detailed, industry specific training, including coursework from AINS
• Contributing to special projects developed by Underwriting Leadership
