Join Pluribus Digital, a digital services consultancy partnering with government clients, as a User Experience Researcher. You will collaborate with clients to design user-friendly digital experiences through research, usability testing, and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities include creating and executing research plans, facilitating design discussions, and translating insights into actionable recommendations. You will work closely with designers and developers to shape accessibility standards and advocate for user needs. Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Information Technology, focusing on user experience design within product development teams
• A bachelor’s degree in any field, or commensurate work experience and certifications
• Excellent understanding and practical experience in: Figma, including prototyping and libraries
• Digital Whiteboarding tools such as Mural
• Performing user research and refining business requirements in service of your designs
• Guiding the research process from planning through execution in an independent capacity
• Managing work and documentation in Jira and Confluence
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Agile leads, designers, software developers, testers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile environment
• Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous customer requests and diverse perspectives into clear, actionable deliverables
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently to perform on the job
• Strong consulting skills and ability to build trust with clients and teammates

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to bring their product vision to life by conducting research and usability testing with a strong emphasis on accessibility
• Create, execute, and maintain research plans and conversation guides, lead research sessions, analyze and synthesize findings
• Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders, product teams, and users by applying human-centered design methods
• Ask great questions to help translate ambiguous requirements into actionable research plans and deliverables
• Support analysis and documentation of product requirements, with a strong focus on deeply understanding the product(s) you support
• Partner closely with designers and developers to adhere to established accessibility standards while proactively contributing to the development of new standards where necessary
• Be a strong voice in presenting ideas, concepts, and design solutions to gain stakeholder buy-in and encourage constructive critique
