Summary
Join Model N, recently acquired by Vista Equity Partners, as the Vice President, Application Services. This leadership role requires managing a global team, overseeing the Application Services P&L, and driving growth and profitability. You will be responsible for sales, service delivery, and exceeding customer expectations. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in enterprise applications, managing large technical teams, and working with complex customers. This position reports to the Chief Services Officer and involves collaboration with various departments.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Engineering, Science, or related technical field
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise applications across professional and/or managed services
- Proven leadership experience of managing large technical teams
- Understanding of life sciences industry and compliance requirements
- Experience in working with large and complex customers
- Builds trust and rapport quickly at all levels, both internal and with customers, including senior management
- Creative problem-solver with ability to inspire teams and drive for results
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel (10-20%)
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a global team of professional services and technical consultants in the U.S. and India
- Ownership of Application Services line of business P&L and financial performance. Meet or exceed financial targets for bookings, revenue, and margin
- Hire, develop and retain a world-class team of consultants and technical resources
- Drive sales and prospecting activities working in partnership with Model Nβs global account management team
- Actively manage sales pipeline and reporting
- Meet or exceed customer expectations on quality and timeliness of all activities and deliverables in accordance with SLAs for Model Nβs Application Services offerings
- Interface with executive-level customer business and IT sponsors and act as the Model N executive sponsor for key accounts including escalation management
- Anticipate customer needs and initiate and develop solutions and capabilities
- Work cross-functionally across the company including Sales, Product Development, Product Management, Customer Support, and Professional Services
