Summary

Join InvoiceCloud as the Vice President of Business Development and lead our efforts in providing Digital Payments Solutions within the Insurance vertical. Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, this key leadership role will drive strategy, build strategic partnerships, influence product direction, and enable sales teams. You will leverage deep understanding of the Property and Casualty Insurance vertical and its technology landscape. This position requires significant experience in business development within the insurance industry and strong leadership skills. A competitive base salary, bonus potential, and other benefits are offered.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field
  • Possess 10+ years of experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry with a focus on business development
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies that drive growth in complex, highly regulated industries
  • Have a deep understanding of the Property and Casualty Insurance core technology systems, and digital payments technologies
  • Show a proven track record of engaging with C-Level & VP level Executives
  • Have a strong network of industry contacts within Insurance and technology partners
  • Possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Be willing to travel as needed (30%-40%+)

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and help implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the Insurance space. Align this strategy with the company's overall goals and objectives to drive growth and market penetration
  • Identify, establish, and maintain strategic relationships with key Partners, prospects and industry analysts, including Insurance carriers, technology platforms, and other stakeholders. Leverage these relationships to enhance our product offerings and expand our market reach
  • Collaborate closely with product management and development teams to influence product direction based on market needs, industry trends, and partner feedback. Ensure that our digital payments platform meets the evolving requirements of the Insurance carriers, and payments sectors
  • Work with the sales teams to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth. Provide them with the tools and insights necessary to effectively sell our digital payment solutions to Insurance clients
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for digital payment solutions within the Property and Casualty Insurance space. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify areas for expansion and innovation
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within the Insurance sector. Use this knowledge to guide strategic decisions and maintain the company's competitive edge
