Join Resultant as their dynamic Vice President of Cybersecurity! This senior leadership role, reporting to the EVP of Managed Services, requires leading the delivery of advanced cybersecurity consulting and managed services to public sector and mid-market private sector clients. You will grow cybersecurity capabilities, develop and deploy strategies and solutions, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position involves managing a team, identifying client opportunities, designing and delivering services, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will also serve as a thought leader, staying current on industry trends and regulations. This role is crucial for driving growth within the managed services practice and mitigating risk for consulting projects.
Requirements
- 10+ years of leadership experience running a business or division, with expertise in cybersecurity and technical fields
- Proven ability to manage and grow a high-growth business
- BA/BS degree required
- Experience managing complex projects, clients, partners, and organizations
- Proven track record of establishing strong executive-level customer relationships
- Strong business acumen and financial skills
- Experience leading remote teams and managing business operations across the US
- Proven experience with resource management, demand forecasting, and planning
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, NIST)
- Ability to travel up to 20% across the US
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and management to the Cybersecurity team, developing an organizational structure and leadership team aligned with Resultant’s mission and values
- Oversee the cybersecurity practice within Managed Services, including leading MSSP operations, vCISO services, and cybersecurity consulting projects
- Attract, develop, and retain top cybersecurity talent with support from the talent function
- Identify opportunities at existing clients, develop proposals, workplans, and pricing, and close deals
- Design and deliver relevant cybersecurity services to clients, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of cybersecurity services, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction
- Ensure the highest client satisfaction in line with Resultant’s strategy
- Partner with other senior leaders to deliver cross-functional services and outcomes
- Lead with empathy, motivating the team to deliver first-class solutions while preparing for long-term growth
- Assist in designing and ensuring compliance with core business processes
- Serve as a thought leader for cybersecurity, both internally and externally
- Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, regulatory changes, and industry trends to ensure the company’s cybersecurity strategies remain effective and compliant
- Implement and oversee compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and NIST
- Support the Professional Services consulting team with secure application development design, regulatory compliance, and other cybersecurity needs
- Assist internal IT with its cybersecurity needs, ensuring robust protection of the company’s internal systems and data
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s degree preferred
- Prior consulting experience preferred
