Vice President of Global Business Services

Summary

Join O-I as the Vice President of Global Business Services (GBS) and lead our shared services functions, including finance, human resources, and procurement. You will develop and implement the strategic vision for the shared services organization, manage high-performing teams, and drive efficiency and standardization across the organization. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 10+ years of experience in GBS or multi-functional shared services operations management, and excellent communication skills. The position reports to the Chief Administrative Officer and involves less than 20% travel. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in GBS or multi-functional shared services operations management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategic vision for the shared services organization
• Lead and manage shared services teams to align with organizational goals
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
• Optimize budgets, resources, and vendor relationships for cost efficiency
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Act as the primary contact for strategic partners and resolve escalations
• Lead the Global Process Owners (GPO) network and manage high-performing teams
• Ensure efficient, consistent, and customer-focused service delivery
• Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and streamline operations
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business objectives
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards
• Proactively manage risks related to shared services operations
• Oversee internal GBS centers in Poznan, Poland, and Medellin, Colombia

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree
• Experience in a global, multi-currency environment

• Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $210 K & $260 K. Additionally, this position will have the opportunity to earn 30% STI and 35% LTI
