Summary
Join Clarity as the Vice President of Sales and lead the charge in generating leads and closing new business and upsells within the healthcare industry. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, negotiate contracts, and manage the sales pipeline. This role requires strong leadership skills to mentor and develop your team, ensuring their success and contributing to overall revenue growth. You will build and maintain senior-level relationships with clients and collaborate effectively across the organization. Success in this role demands a proven track record of high-value sales and a deep understanding of the healthcare payer market and document management.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- Ten years of experience in healthcare payer sales, with a foundation of document management control
- Prior experience in a supervisory or mentoring role
- Capability to help staff improve performance and maintain motivation through tailored coaching and effective feedback & exchange
- Effective observational skills with an ability to translate improvement needs of staff into actionable coaching plans
- Functioning knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Metrics analysis experience
- Contract management experience, including negotiating and finalizing contracts
Responsibilities
- Identify prospects and generate qualified sales opportunities that drive Clarity revenue growth
- Develop, document, and drive opportunity-specific strategic selling plans to successfully win new logo and existing client upsell business as quickly as feasible
- Negotiate new contracts
- Independently manage the effective and timely movement of sales opportunities through the stages of the sales process
- Interact across the Clarity organization in an effective and timely manner to ensure support for and coordination of new client sales implementations, as well as successful transition of new clients to assigned Account Executives
- Accurately forecast opportunity values for budget and forecasting purposes
- Maintain up to date and accurate sales pipeline activity in the companyβs CRM system
- Develop and maintain senior level buyer relationships within clients and across the healthcare industry
- Help grow sales skills of direct report(s) in areas such as prospecting, qualifying leads, presentation skills, closing techniques, and more
- Regularly review and analyze the pipeline health and CRM data capture of direct report(s) to identify areas of improvement and pinpoint coaching needs
- Develop direct report(s) as needed and provide support in address barriers that may hinder successful completion of business objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Software and end-to-end fulfillment solution sales experience
- In-depth understanding of the technology space
- Track record of new logo and existing client expansion sales success
- Ability to handle 20+ concurrent prospects
- Experience developing and leading complex sales strategies leading to high value sales and satisfying clients
- Able to recognize new product opportunities and champion their development and market delivery across key internal organizational business units
